Dani Naveh, Managing General Partner-FounderPrior to founding Agate, Dani served in several ministerial positions in the Israeli Government including Minister of Health in the years 2003-2006. During this time, Dani led the national health system's post recession turnaround. As part of the stabilizing plan he enlarged the budget and the number of drugs and medical technologies included in the national health basket and was able to avoid the closure of several major hospitals. Dani has also deep understanding and knowledge of international healthcare systems. Dani served as Cabinet Secretary and as a member of the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset. He was a member of the Foreign Affairs & Defense, and Constitution, Law & Justice Committees. As Cabinet Secretary, he also served as the Chief Negotiator with the Palestinian Authority and accumulated experience in managing international governmental activities. Before he was elected to public office, Dani was the Marketing VP of the investment company Tashluz. He was also a senior manager in the largest HMO in Israel (Kupat Cholim Clalit).
