The Fund invests in medical technology companies that are innovating in such areas as diagnostics, prevention, alleviation and treatment of serious illnesses with large market potential; and in healthcare services and initiatives related to healthcare infrastructure.
In the case of medical technology, the focus is on mainly selected, Israeli-based or -related mature companies in the particular sub-sectors stated above, which are seeking or could benefit from a final round or buyout finance to maximize their exit value potential, and where a clear exit strategy has been mapped and validated by the Fund managers.
In the case of healthcare services, the focus is on investments in mainly emerging markets, alongside strategic partners with proven experience and where the fund can acquire a substantial holding.
The Fund gets at least one seat on the board of the companies in which it invests and plays an active role in order to drive its portfolio companies to profitable exits.
